EARLIER this week, Lionel Messi showed off his incredible trove of swapped footballing jerseys from some of the world’s biggest stars.
The Barcelona man, 29, has an entire room dedicated to former opponents, including Angel Di Maria, Pablo Aimar, Raul, Iker Casillas and Philipp Lahm to name a few.
Look closely enough at the collection and you will see an old Ajax jersey belonging to Nicolai Boilesen.

After seeing his No15 shirt in the bottom left of the image, Boilesen – now of Danish side Copenhagen – revealed he has been ‘forced’ to hang up his Messi jersey.
Taking to Instagram, the Danish footballer showed off the picture of the famous Barcelona No10 top.
He hilariously captioned it: “‘Forced’ to put this on the wall now #thebesttoeverdoit #idonthaveafancyfloor”.
Defender Boilesen left Ajax at the end of last season in order to return to Denmark.
However, he played against Barcelona with the Dutch giants twice in the Champions League.
Messi bagged a hat-trick in the game at the Nou Camp in 2013 – and it’s that clash’s jersey Boilesen appears to have got his hands on.
A season later, in 2014, Boilesen was on the end of yet another Messi masterclass, as the Argentine wizard scored twice in a 2-0 win for the La Liga giants.
However that is not the Dane’s only claim to fame, as the defender once had trials with Manchester United, before joining Ajax aged 17.
