A ROMANIAN lad who came to Britain and learned English in four weeks has found he has a genius-level IQ.
Mihail Barascu, 11, moved here in 2009 and cracked the lingo with two tutorials a week.
A Mensa test has now put his IQ at 162. Most people are 70 to 130.
Dad Gheorghe, 36, a teacher, said: “We knew he was bright but didn’t know the extent until he took the test this week.”
Mum Gabriella, 40, said: “He’s got so much imagination. Sometimes we say, ‘Slow down!’”
But Mihail, who starts Dover Grammar School in Kent later this year, says he can do better.
He said: “I always relax when I’m at home. I barely do any work. I’m just lazy sometimes.”
