France striker so nearly moved to Old Trafford in the summer and new £175million release clause may not deter Jose Mourinho from trying again

Antoine Griezmann could once again be a top transfer target for Manchester United – as soon as January, according to reports.

The Atletico Madrid striker was linked with a move to Old Trafford for all of last summer.

His will-he-won’t-he predicament became one of the biggest talking points of the transfer window even though United ultimately settled on Romelu Lukaku.

It is believed that agreement has bumped his minimum transfer fee up to around £175million.
