Chelsea are set for another tilt at Juventus defender Alex Sandro, according to reports.
The Brazil international was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer as Blues boss Anotnio Conte was prepared to shell out a world record fee for a full-back.
However, Juve valued the left-back, 26, at around £60m but Chelsea refused to pay the asking price.
According to TransferMarketWeb, the Premier League champions will test the resolve of the Italian giants with a big money bid for Sandro in January.
Conte wanted another set of wing-backs so he could rotate Victor Moses and Marco Alonso in the summer.
But he only achieved half his objective signing Davide Zappacosta from Torino for £23million.
Regardless of interest from the Premier League, Juve are desperate to hold on to Brazilian who scored in the derby win against Torino on Saturday by offering him a new deal to extend his stay in Turin.
The defender arrived in Italy in 2015 after four years in Portugal with Porto and has 11 caps for Brazil.
Both sides are back in Champions League action this week after emphatic domestic league wins.
Chelsea who go to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, powered past Stoke at the bet365 stadium thanks to a stunning hat-trick from former Juve striker Alvaro Morata.
And after hammering Torino, Juve are also in action on Wednesday when they take on Sporting Lisbon at home.
