Roma will submit one final bid for Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, according to club sporting director Monchi.
The Serie A giants are running out of patience as they look to complete a deal for the Algerian and will launch one last-ditch, take it or leave it bid.
Italian outfit Roma came in with a £32million bid for Mahrez, who wants out this summer, earlier this week.
With frustration running high in Rome, Monchi claimed they would not be pressurised into paying over the odds and will table one final offer.
He said: “We’ve made two offers, the second is fair and then we stopped.
“There are no percentages, the deal will get over the line or it won’t.”
Mahrez, 26, is desperate for a new challenge after joining Leicester in 2014 and starring in their title-winning season in 2015-16.
He struggled to hit the same heights last campaign but did show signs of improvement under Craig Shakespeare.
Mahrez was on the bench for the friendly win over Luton this week – coming on to bag an 83rd-minute winner.
The Algerian was also on target in the 1-1 draw with West Brom and has looked sharp in training.
Should Roma fail in their bid to sign Mahrez, they may turn their attention to Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.
The former Arsenal ace spent last season on loan at Sevilla and could be allowed to leave for just £10m.
