West Ham and Newcastle are looking into the possibility of landing Michy Batshuayi on loan next season.

The Chelsea striker has made just one Premier League start since his £33million switch from Marseille last summer.

Blues boss Antonio Conte clearly believes that the 23-year-old doesn’t pose enough qualiy to be a regular starter for the newly-crowned champions and their league rivals are ready to take advantage.

According to ESPN, West Ham are keen to land a striker in the summer and have a long-term interest in Batshuayi.

The Hammers attempted to sign him permanently last summer but he opted for a switch to Stamford Bridge instead.

Slaven Bilic’s side struggled for goals last campaign with midfielder Michail Antonio finishing top of the scoring charts with nine.
