Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Romelu Lukaku’s entourage ahead of a £70million summer bid.
The Everton striker is the Premier League’s top scorer this season and has been strongly linked with a return to Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte is also believed to be eyeing Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata as Diego Costa prepares to move to China.
But Gianluca di Marzio claims Lukaku is Chelsea’s top choice and talks with his representatives are already under way.
The player himself has allegedly spoken to Blues goalkeeper and Belgium teammate Thibaut Courtois over his potential move back to London.
And Chelsea are now ready to enter into discussions with Everton as they prepare to make a £70m offer.
But Lukaku won’t be the only arrival this summer, with Conte reportedly looking to make an additional FIVE signings.
Among those are a new goalkeeper to replace Asmir Begovic, as well as another central midfielder.
There is also strong interest in Virgil van Dijk, even though Southampton claim they’re ready to reject £60m for the centre-back.
