Eric Bailly has officially given up defending for lent.
The Man United ‘centre-back’ gifted PSG their opening goal with some of the worst defending you’ll see all season.
Not once, but twice Bailly fell asleep and allowed Juan Bernat to sneak in and find the back of the net.
The defender’s day somehow got even worse when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced him with Diogo Dalot after just 35 minutes.
Bailly hobbled off but we’re not convinced he was actually injured.
It’s now the second time this season that the Ivorian has been hooked before half-time.
Jose Mourinho humiliated him last October, subbing him just 18 minutes into the game against Newcastle.
During BT Sport’s half-time coverage, Rio Ferdinand approved of the decision to replace Bailly
The former United man said: “It would have been negligent to keep him on the pitch to be honest. It’s a blessing he got injured and had to come off!”
