If this is Aaron Ramsey’s parting gift for Arsenal, it’s a pretty decent one.
The Welshman is joining Juventus at the end of the season after 11 eventful years at the Emirates.
But before he heads to Turin he produced a memorable moment in the hotly-anticipated north London derby.
Ramsey’s record at Wembley has been exemplary, scoring two FA Cup final winners which cemented his legendary status at the club.
And he added to his Wembley tally today, capitalising on some wayward Spurs defending to round Hugo Lloris and open the scoring inside 20 minutes.
Ramsey clearly enjoyed it and during his celebration can be seen saying ‘this is my f***ing place’ as he wheels away.
You can’t really disagree with him either.
A little hint of the Cristiano Ronaldos about it, right? Perhaps he’s practising before he joins up with his new team-mate in the summer.
If Ramsey can inspire a victory that cuts the gap to their great rivals to just a single point, he’s guaranteed to leave the club on a high.
