Where the hell did this come from?
Slavisa Jokanovic has, perhaps unsurprisingly, been sacked by Fulham this morning.
And he’s already been replaced… by Claudio Ranieri.
Yes the BBC have confirmed that Fulham, who sit rock bottom of the Premier League after seven straight defeats, have turned to the man who masterminded the greatest title victory in history with Leicester.
Ranieri left French club Nantes at the end of last season after securing a ninth placed finish in Ligue 1.
His Leicester dream came to a sad end when he was sacked eight months into the following campaign with Leicester flirting with relegation.
Jokanovic’s dismissal is the first Premier League sacking of the season after a torrid last couple of months.
Ranieri starts with a crucial relegation encounter against Southampton after the international break, followed by two emotional clashes against his former clubs; Chelsea and Leicester.
