It’s a common debate amongst football fans – just who is the fastest player in the league?
We’ve gathered the stats from Opta for the quickest Premier League players and can now reveal the fastest speeds achieved in the league so far this season.
10 – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 34.753 kmh

8 – Aaron Lennon – 34.826 kmh
7 – Kyle Walker – 34.845 kmh
6 – Terence Kongolo – 34.853 kmh
5 – Helder Costa – 34.858 kmh
4 – Willian – 34.892 kmh
3 – Romelu Lukaku – 34.894 kmh
2 – Ryan Sessegnon – 34.913 kmh
1 – Dominic Calvert Lewin – 34.935 kmh
We bet none of you saw that coming. Yep, at number one it’s Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
With 86 pace on FIFA this comes as a bit of a shock, but it was during the game against Southampton in August when he got up to the remarkable speed of 34.935 kph.
What may be most surprising is the fact there’s no place for Wolves’ Adama Traore. The rapid winger recently picked up the award for fastest player on FIFA 19, but as yet hasn’t been clocked in the top 10 sprinters in the Premier League.
There’s still time to change of course, and we fully expect him to be nearer the top of the pack later on in the season.
