LIVERPOOL will launch a second Aaron Ramsey raid after having a summer bid snubbed, according to reports.
The Welsh international’s Arsenal contract talks have hit a brick wall and he is available on a free at the end of the season.
A number of clubs are chasing Rambo, 27, with the Sunday Mirror claiming Jurgen Klopp will lead the way after making an enquiry in the last window.
Ramsey snubbed Unai Emery after being taken off against Watford and has cut a frustrated figure this season.
After being replaced by Alex Iwobi in the 2-0 win, he shook his head in disbelief and walked straight past Emery without even looking at him when the manager came across to pat him on the chest.
Ramsey’s annoyance came just days after Arsenal changed their mind about offering him a new £250,000-a-week deal to keep him at the club beyond next summer.
But Emery has tried to play down any talk of a rift – explaining: “I like it when a player wants to play every minute.
“I want to see a competitive spirit from all my players and I was very happy with the mentality of Iwobi today. I wanted him to get closer to the box, to be more aggressive.”
Former Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla chief Emery likes his attacking midfielders to play a high-pressing style and SunSport revealed he wants Ever Banega to replace Ramsey.
That would open the door for Liverpool and AC Milan among others, with Arsenal having one more chance to cash in when the window opens in January.
