Loftus-Cheek – who was shipped off on loan to Crystal Palace last season – had to settle for a place on the bench once again.
While teenage starlet Hudson-Odoi, 17, was left out of the squad entirely by the Italian boss.
And fans were also left angered that Welsh international Ethan Ampadu was omitted from the squad to face the Greek giants.
One supporter tweeted: “I’m surprised there’s no Hudson-Odoi or Loftus-Cheek tbh, especially in groups you can play youth.”
While another commented: “How are we not starting the likes of Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi today.”
One simply stated: “Chelsea are ruining Loftus-Cheek.”
Loftus-Cheek, 22, has failed to start under Sarri following his appointment, with the player restricted to just two cameo appearances in the Premier League.
And despite being a key player during pre-season for Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi is yet to feature since the Community Shield defeat against Manchester City.
