Remember when we all laughed along as Leicester flirted with the top of the Premier League table in 2016?
Yeah, well we know how that all ended up.
Now it’s happening again with Watford, one of only three teams in the Premier League who have a 100% winning record after four games.
We said we wouldn’t get carried away. Not this time. Fool me once and all that.
But then we stumbled across a stat that kicked the adrenaline into overdrive and got us dreaming again.
Let’s first look at the season prior to Leicester winning the Premier League.
The Foxes narrowly avoided relegation, finishing 14th on 41 points having won 11 games, drawn eight and lost 19.
Keep that in mind as we revisit Watford’s last campaign.

Javi Gracia, stop whatever you’re doing right now and get that open-top bus parade booked.
Watford are currently at 250/1 with most bookies to do the unthinkable.
Gracia’s side host Man United after the international break, meaning their winning streak is almost certainly set to increase to five games.
You may as well start mentally preparing by picturing Troy Deeney lifting aloft the Premier League trophy in May, flanked by Elton John and Luther Blissett.
