Manchester United will rival Inter Milan for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to reports.
The midfielder is being linked with a summer exit and Bild claims the Germans want £26million.
Vidal, 31, has been attracting interest from Italy but Chilean newspaper El Mercurio insists United are showing an interest.
Bayern signed Leon Goretzka from Schalke on a free this summer and Swansea flop Renato Sanches is being given a shot under new boss Niko Kovac.
The Bundesliga giants failed to include Vidal in their 25-man squad heading to the US – claiming he is injured.
But he seemed to disputed the report by declaring himself “100 per cent ready” on Instagram alongside a winking emoji.

Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich has flown into Munich to discuss his clients future.
Felicevich was involved in Alexis Sanchez’s Old Trafford switch, which could hand Mourinho the advantage over Inter.
United also have more cash to spend than the Serie A outfit after a relatively quiet summer.
Vidal’s age and experience would fit Mourinho’s profile for signings as he looks for players to make an instant impact.
But his price tag may put off club chiefs, who know the veteran is unlikely to hold much re-sale value.
