JOSE MOURINHO has booked his Manchester United squad in for double sessions this week at the start of a brutal pre-season training regime.
The United boss wants to get his side in top shape ahead of a busy July and August of friendly fixtures.
The Portuguese supremo is keen to get last season’s runners-up at peak fitness for another charge at the Premier League title.
And he has even called in the club dentist to check his players’ teeth in his bid for no stone to be left unturned.
Mourinho has drafted in the hygienist for the past couple of years to check over his entire squad.
It is thought the examinations can find a wide range of health and injury problems, which other tests might not.

An Old Trafford source said: “Jose wants to get the lads in tip-top shape ahead of the new season.
“He has got them doing two training sessions for the whole of this week. It’s going to be some tough work.
“The boss thinks they should be fit and raring to go before the World Cup guys return in the next few weeks.

United are expected to welcome a mixture of new and old signings along with young starlets at training this week.
