HUDDERSFIELD are reportedly plotting an audacious move for AC Milan striker Andre Silva.
The Portuguese star joined the Serie A giants for £33million last summer.
However, he has struggled to hit top form at the San Siro since his arrival from Porto.
Silva, 22, found the net just ten times in 40 appearances and just twice in the top-flight.
And that has led to Sky Italia claiming he could be set for a switch to the Terriers in order to try and revitalise his career.
Huddersfield are believed to be readying an approach to bring him to the Premier League on loan, with Wolves also keen.
And David Wagner will be hoping if the forward, who still has four years left on his contract, agrees to the switch he can rediscover the goal scoring threat that convinced Milan to fork out big for him 12 months ago.
The Terriers have already added to their squad this summer with the capture of Ben Hamer from Leicester.
They are also set to seal a deal for Stoke City ace Ramadan Sobhi within the next 24 hours.
The 21-year-old winger has been given permission to leave Egypt’s World Cup camp to hold talks with Wagner.
He is expected to undergo a medical today before signing on the dotted line.
Sobhi scored two and set-up another during his side’s relegation campaign last season.
Wagner will discover who Huddersfield will face on the opening day of the new campaign when the Prem fixtures are released next Thursday.
