The official statistics are in and we can reveal this season's ultimate speedster

The Premier League has some seriously quick players.

But who can don the crown of being the Prem’s ultimate speedster?

Well, the official statistics are in and we can reveal the top 10 fastest players burning the turf in England’s top league.

Let’s start with a couple of very notable players who didn’t make the list.

The biggest shock of them all was Mohamed Salah only being the 19th-fastest player in the league this season, clocking up a max speed of 34.93km/h.

Then two lauded pace merchants, who all Arsenal fans will tell you are actually the quickest no matter what the stats say, didn’t make it anywhere near the top 10.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hector Bellerin were joint-14th in the rankings, pleasingly registering the exact same maximum speed of 34.99km/h.
