Imagine a Toni Kroos goal.
If you’re like us, you pictured the German midfielder stroking the ball into the bottom corner from just outside the box with the side of his foot.
The Real Madrid passmaster’s preferred method of finishing is well-known and has led numerous goals down the years.
This is probably our favourite example…
Anyway, it appears a fondness for this technique runs in the family.
Toni’s brother Felix has just scored a typically Kroos goal for Union Berlin against Regensburg in the 2. Bundesliga.
Genuinely one of the most pleasing moments of the season.
Felix is a year younger than Toni and has represented Germany at several youth levels but has never joined his brother in the senior squad.
He moved to Union Berlin in 2016 after six years with Werder Bremen where he was limited to just 70 appearances.
He may not have reached the dizzying heights of his older brother but at least he’s got the trademark family finish in his locker.
