Ball boys can be insufferable wind up merchants some times.
But you can’d to this.
With Shakhtar Donetsk losing to Roma and on the way out of the Champions League, Facundo Ferreyra took matters into his own hands to try and reduce any time wasting.
The tie was finely poised on the night after Edin Dzeko’s strike, with Roma going through on away goals after a 2-1 defeat in Ukraine.
And with just over ten minutes remaining one of the Italian side’s ball boys chose to try and gain his side some vital respite.
Only it didn’t sit well with Ferreyra at all, who ended up pushing the ball boy over the advertising hoardings while trying to grab the ball off him.
Comical… but a little too far.
Amazingly former Newcastle striker Ferreyra didn’t receive a red card for the incident but Shakhtar were unable to force a vital equaliser.
