These six brands would be the *perfect* sponsors for Spurs’ new stadium

Spurs haven't yet signed a naming rights deal for their new stadium yet, but luckily we have got six perfect options.

This is a weird situation for Daniel Levy.

When it comes to contract negotiations and making sure deals happen the Spurs chairman is one of the best operators in the business.

But as it was revealed at a meeting between the club and supporters this week, Levy hasn’t sorted out who is going to sponsor their shiny brand new stadium for next season.

We’ve got it sorted Daniel

That means the new White Hart Lane will be known as the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until a naming rights agreement is reached.

Well luckily for Levy, and all you Spurs fans out there, Dream Team has knocked up six perfect companies to sponsor the new stadium.

You can thanks us later.

The Evian Stadium

Ok it does sound a little bit like the Eithad but you get where we’re coming from right?

A company that makes bottles putting their name all over the biggest bottlers in the league’s stadium.

It’s a match made in heaven.

The Speedo Stadium

7

You can thank Dele Alli for this brand sponsorship.

At the Olympics you will see Speedo sponsoring the best divers in the world and now they want to turn their attention to football.

Alli has picked up a reputation for going down way too easily and Speedo saw an opportunity to match their brand with the best divers in football.

Rumours are Tom Daley is going to be officially opening the arena.

The Dolmio Stadium

7

Everyone likes a good old lasagna before a crunch league match.

Back in 2006 all Spurs had to do to secure a Champions League spot was match Arsenal’s result, but then half the squad got food poisoning from a dodgy Italian spread.

Spurs lost, Arsenal won – another season in the UEFA Cup awaited.

Having the Dolmio man looking down on Harry Kane might just be too much for the players to handle – but the half time pasta would be decent.

The FIVE stadium

That lasagna episode meant that Spurs ended the season in their normal position of fifth in the league.

So often they have been the nearly men when it comes to Champions League qualification, even when they finished fourth in 2011-12 they still ended up in the Europa League.

You can picture it, Rio Ferdinand approaching Levy targeting the free advertising when ‘Spurs’ and ‘fifth’ gets mentioned thousands of times at the end of the season.

There would be nothing more appropriate than a big sign saying five hanging on the new ground.

The Bernabeu 2

7

For years now when a Spurs player becomes very good they get signed by Real Madrid and go on to win loads of trophies they never would have.

Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and by the start of next season you will be seeing Harry Kane playing in Madrid.

Madrid could decide to sponsor the stadium and essentially make it into a training ground for the Real Madrid B team Spurs.

The SMAstadium

Sorry Spurs fans, I’m going to be the one to tell you this – you are a feeder club.

Hence why one of the world’s premier feeding companies would be more than happy to blow their marketing budget on the stadium.

Yes things may have changed under Mauricio Pochettino and now players do want to stay in London.

But the wage structure means you’ll probably always be fighting a losing battle with the big boys.
