Imagine watching Bayern Munich from the new luxury suite inside the Allianz Arena

The Bundesliga giants have teamed up with Marriott International to offer perhaps the best matchday experience in world football

Imagine watching Robert Lewandowski celebrate yet another hat-trick while tucked up in bed inside the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich have teamed up with hotel specialists Marriott International to offer fans possibly the most luxurious matchday experience football has to offer.

The partnership allows members of Marriott’s loyalty programs the chance to watch Bayern play at home from the comfort of a luxury suite.

The ‘Courtyard’ looks to have a decent view of the pitch and is furnished like a high-end hotel suite, complete with bed and cocktail bar.

All the ‘proper football men’ out there probably see this as another nail in the coffin for a once proudly working class sport.

But let’s be honest, we’d all love to watch Arjen Robben cut in from the right and curl his finish into the top corner while swigging Old Fashioneds in a swanky hotel room.

Bayern are waltzing to title this season with an 18-point lead over RB Leipzig in second place.

Jupp Heynckes has restored the squad’s confidence following a shaky start to the season under Carlo Ancelotti.

Lewandowski and Thomas Muller scored either side of Franco Di Santo’s strike for Schalke to give the Bavarian club a 2-1 win at the weekend.

Bayern face Besiktas in the Champions League round of 16 and host the Turkish club next Tuesday for the first leg.

And you could be watching them from the ‘Courtyard’… probably not though.
