You can’t buy happiness.
But you can buy the Ligue 1 if your name is PSG.
L’Equipe have revealed the top 30 wages in Ligue 1 and they make for good reading if you are a PSG player.
Only one non-PSG player makes the top ten- Monaco’s Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian striker is earning €750,000-a-month, which is the ninth highest wage packet in Ligue 1.
Unsurprisingly Neymar, who makes €3,000,000-a-month, is top of the pile, with Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe both taking home around €1,500,000-a-month.
Thiago Silva, on €1,300,000-a-month, is fourth, with Angel Di Maria and Marquinhos next on the list taking home €1,120,000-a-month.
Can you guess where the next two players come from? Yep, PSG.
Thiago Motta earns €875,000-a-month, followed by his team-mate Javier Pastore who earns €770,000-a-month.
Falcao scrapes into the top ten at ninth, with Dani Alves rounding off the list on €700,000-a-month.
Another interesting line from the top 30 is that Hatem Ben Arfa earns the same as Dimitri Payet but more than Mario Balotelli.
But don’t feel too sorry for the Italian. He’s not going to go hungry on €400,000-a-month.
