Demba Ba follows Tevez out of China in deadline day move

Former Newcastle and Chelsea striker enjoyed two spells with Besiktas before leaving Europe — but has now gone back

DEMBA BA has made a return to Turkey, after joining Goztepe from Shanghai Shenhua.

The Senegal striker left Europe to join Shanghai Shenhua in 2015, following a spell at Besiktas.

He rejoined the Turkish giants on loan last year — and has now made his return to the Super Lig with Goztepe.

Ba, 32, has regularly moved around in his career, playing in France, Belgium and Germany before signing for West Ham on loan in the Premier League back in 2011.

Later that summer, he failed a medical at Stoke before completing a move to Newcastle, where he shot to prominence.

Along with fellow Senegalese frontman Papiss Cisse, they helped the Magpies finish an impressive fifth.
