A “SECRET” club are ready to pounce if Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United falls through, according to Guillem Balague.
The Red Devils appear to be firmly in the driving seat to sign the Chilean from Arsenal.
Reports claim that the 29-year-old has already agreed personal terms with United, despite late interest from Chelsea.
The Gunners are now waiting for Old Trafford winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan to decide whether he wants to move in the opposite direction for the deal to be pushed through.
But the respected Spanish journalist insisted on his latest Youtube video that a mystery other side will move if the switch collapses.
Who that giant is remains unknown as he kept things close to his chest, but both Real and Atletico Madrid could both be lurking.
But Balague did confirm one club not interested.
The Sky Sports La Liga football expert stated that Premier League rivals Liverpool have no interest in the South American.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s stars have reportedly made it clear to Arsene Wenger that they want Sanchez gone before the weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace.
The Standard claims the Gunners squad have not been impressed by the ongoing transfer saga.
They are without a win in five games in all competitions, and some in the dressing room feel Sanchez’s behaviour is causing deeper problems in the squad.
The Chilean was apparently dropped against Bournemouth due to “tensions within the camp”.
However, Sanchez’s future does not look like it will be resolved today.
The forward was spotted in the streets of the capital this afternoon as he headed to the barbers.
And he could well have been getting a new trim to ensure he looks his best for any upcoming transfer unveiling.
His proposed exit could cause a domino effect across the market in Europe.
Arsenal are now looking to land Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a replacement on top of Mkhitaryan.
The Germans are now believed to be making a play for Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.
And the Blues themselves are looking at West Ham’s Andy Carroll.
