What is going on with Renato Sanches?
Not too long ago, the Portuguese youngster won the 2016 Golden Boy award and was voted the Young Player of the Tournament at Euro 2016 ahead of his heavily-publicised €35 million deal to Bayern Munich.

But since then, it’s all gone a bit down hill.
After a woeful first year at Bayern, the 20-year-old joined Swansea on a season-long loan in one of the most surprising deals of the summer.
The move was supposed to rejuvenate the wonderkid’s career – but it’s all gone horribly wrong for him at the relegation-threatened club.
So far this season, he’s mostly been known for his lack of confidence on the ball and his sloppy passing – with an infamous pass straight to the advertising boards the absolute low-point so far.

Well, it kinda has.
In the Swan’s FA Cup clash against Wolves today, the former Benfica man was hauled off on the 34th minute after attemtping a ridiculous 45-yard strike.

The midfielder – who’s long-ranger was jeered by the entire stadium – then grabbed his hamstring before limping off the pitch to be replaced by Tom Carroll.
It certainly doesn’t look good for him.
