Something tells us Carlos Tevez didn’t really enjoy his time out in China.
The 33-year-old cut his stay at Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua short to make a third return to Boca Juniors.
We hope Shanghai kept the receipt for the £615,000-a-week they were paying him.
Tevez scored four goals in 20 appearances while being one of the most highly-paid players in world football.
But are you ready to feel really jealous?
For (hardly) doing his job Tevez netted around £88,000 every single day.
Shanghai essentially paid £8million for every goal Tevez scored.
Although you wouldn’t know it from their fairly friendly tweet announcing his exit.
Shanghai’s supporters weren’t quite as forgiving.
Luckily they’ve still got Demba Ba, Obafemi Martins and Fredy Guarin to watch every week.
Amongst the criticism there was one man who was over the moon with Tevez’s exit.
In typically maverick style Diego Maradona gushed: “He went to China, filled up Santa’s sack with dollars and came back to Boca. Perfect.”
Who are we to argue with the big man?
