And it looks like Wolves are going to beat Spanish giants Real Madrid to the signature of one of Valencia’s most promising talents, according to reports in Spain.

To make matters worse, as Super Deporte reported, the European champions believed they had already won the race to get Rafa Mir onto their books.

Mendes is Mir’s agent and his links to Wolves’ owners has been well documented. 

Mir is a highly-rated attacker who had been coveted by Zinedine Zidane’s side all season.
