Gosh, it looks like Barcelona will stop at NOTHING to tempt Philippe Coutinho to the Nou Camp this summer.
In a Secret Santa gift-giving stunt – supposedly organised by the former Barca star Neymar – striker Luis Suarez was ‘randomly’ paired with Coutinho out of a hat.
And according to the folks over Sport, this is just the icing on the cake of the No 10’s £133million move next summer.
In the video, Suarez explains that Coutinho is his Secret Santa before we see the Brazilian laughing and opening his gift.
The Liverpool midfielder, who is seemingly at home, opens the bag and pulls out a bottle of vodka.
Suarez says: “Now I’m going to reveal my Secret Santa, it’s my little brother, Philippe Coutinho.
“Well, Philippe, your Secret Santa was me and from Barcelona I send you a gift that I know you’ll like a lot because I know you’re going to remember the good times that we have and that we live.”
Coutinho reveals the bottle and laughs: “What the f***!
“When Luis was here his wife liked to drink it and so did I. Thank you.”
What wasn’t said was that the Uruguayan will be hoping for a reunion at Barca with Coutinho, who was relentlessly tracked by the Catalan club over the summer transfer window.
They failed with a final bid of £118million in August – which was rejected by the Reds – but are expected to go back in for the Brazilian in January.
