Having been dropped for the Merseyside derby Coutinho had a point to prove to his manager Jurgen Klopp against Bournemouth.
He did so with aplomb.

His unique set of skills were sorely missed against Everton as Liverpool couldn’t break down a side who sat back.
Bournemouth have a slightly more positive outlook but they were beginning to frustrate Mo Salah and co. before Coutinho delivered a run of pure class.
He started the move with a perfectly weighted touch round the corner from a long ball.

Coutinho picked up the return and burst into the Bournemouth area.
But what really caught the eye was the way the ball seemed to be surgically attached the Brazilians right boot.
He had such control over it that he weaved in and out of several Bournemouth defenders before slotting past Asmir Begovic into the bottom corner.

If Liverpool can get Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Coutinho all firing at the same they could be an unstoppable attacking force – as they have demonstrated this season.
Unfortunately it looks like if Coutinho continues to play like this then Barcelona will sure come knocking again either in January or the summer.
And Liverpool might not be able to refuse the kind of bid they launch this time round.
