As well as his English roots Kroos is also a fine midfielder in his own right, so an all round good bloke to ask.
Someone posed the question to Kroos on Twitter during an #AskToni session.
Who did he go for? Drum roll please. He went for the ginger prince, Scholes.
Cue plenty of angry Chelsea and Liverpool supporters.

Can you argue with a midfielder who’s been named in the FIFA Team of the Year on three different occasions and won three Champions League medals?
