Romelu Lukaku had a strange Manchester derby.
The Man United striker registered two assists. Unfortunately both of them were for Man City.
Does he get fantasy football points for that?
His first assist came in the 43rd minute of the game.
Lukaku inadvertently chested Kevin De Bruyne’s corner into the path of David Silva.
The Spaniard was all in his own in the United box and volleyed past David De Gea to make it 1-0.
The second assist, after Marcus Rashford had equalised for United, was even more bizarre.
Silva whipped in a free-kick which evaded everyone and fell to an unmarked Lukaku.
The Belgian striker went to launch the ball out of the box but only succeeded in smashing the ball at Chris Smalling’s back.
Nicolas Otamendi was on hand to pounce and put City ahead once again.
But don’t worry Romelu, all people are concerned about these days are statistics, and they can’t take those two assists from you.
In fact, if we’re being harsh, the second one has to go down as a Smalling assist.
We’re sure he’ll be delighted with that.
