Yesterday it was revealed the Arsenal midfielder has had to undergo surgery for a ninth time on his ankle, much to the disappointment of not just Gunners fans but fans of the game in general.
The popular player hasn’t played since October 2016 and it was hoped he might return in January before yesterday’s crushing setback.
