When Romelu Lukaku sealed his £75 million move to Manchester United over the summer, he threw the mother of all parties in Los Angeles with his pal Paul Pogba.
The pair were seen hanging out together frequently in Beverley Hills, with Pogba seemingly playing a key role in helping the Belgian engineer his dream move to Old Trafford.
So when the deal was sealed, the pair partied the night away in the hills of the rich and famous.
You can just imagine it.
Unfortunately for the duo, the police showed up to the house Lukaku was renting – after a receiving a noise complaint from the neighbours.
Lukaku ended up receiving a misdemeanor for five verbal warnings and appeared in a Los Angeles court last month.
But it looks like the towering-forward will escape jail time, and instead pay compensation to the Beverly Hills Police Department for their response.
And get this, the striker’s fine is a grand total of $450, which works out at £340.
Yikes, that’ll show ‘im.
The case will be heard again at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse on December 18, with the charge reduced from a misdemeanour – which carries a maximum sentence of six months in jail – to a disturbance of the peace infraction, which carries a $100 (£76) fine, plus the other costs and penalties.
Normal service resumed, folks.
