THIAGO SILVA has revealed that he is trying to lure Philippe Coutinho away from Liverpool.
Despite under contract at Anfield until 2022, the Brazilian has attracted interest from a number of Europe’s biggest clubs.
The PSG skipper met up with Coutinho earlier this month for international friendlies and he used this time to convince the playmaker to leave the Reds.
Silva admitted that he is in regular contact with him and would like to see him join his fellow Brazil internationals in Paris.
Dani Alves, Neymar, Lucas Moura and Marquinhos all play for the French giants.
The 33-year-old told Telefoot: “I talk a lot with Coutinho.
“I hope that at the end of the season or even before, it could be an ice surprise for us.
“I hope he will think well and that next year he will work with us.
“But I think the most important thing for him is to make the best decision.”
PSG are the latest club to register their interest, with Barcelona expected to continue their pursuit for the Brazilian next summer.
Jurgen Klopp rejected three offers from the Catalans earlier this year.
Coutinho remains under contract with Liverpool until 2022, but his future at the club remains under speculation.
