Chelsea ready to take on Tottenham in race for Watford winger Richarlison

Brazilian ace impressed in Hornets' loss at Stamford Bridge - and Blues' boss Antonio Conte hasn't forgotten

Chelsea are keeping an eye on Watford’s Brazilian star Richarlison.

The winger, 20, has impressed during his first four months at Vicarage Road.

He’s also sparked interest from Tottenham but Blues boss Antonio Conte is also ready to join the race.

Richarlison caught the ­Italian’s eye during the Hornets’ 4-2 Premier League defeat at Stamford Bridge last month.

The Samba star has scored four goals in just 12 appearances since his £13m move from Fluminense during the summer.

Richarlison has certainly brought some Brazilian flavour to Watford.

He has enjoyed his own cook since he arrived in England – Giovanna, the wife of his agent Renato Velasco.

He also dines at a specialist Brazilian food stall in St Albans.

Richarlison explained: “I passed the trial at America Mineiro when I was 17.
