It’s not been a great season for Cristiano Ronaldo so far.
The Real Madrid man has notched just one goal in La Liga this season, while Los Blancos trail their bitter-rivals Barcelona by eight points in the Spanish top-flight.
And it looks like the Portuguese superstar is starting to crack, with reports in El Transistor claiming he’s not particularly happy with Madrid team-mate Isco following the team’s 3-0 win over Las Palmas on Sunday.
Ronaldo once again failed to find the back of the net in the game, but did produce one of the moments of the match when he set up Isco for the third and final goal.
Isco prodded home from close range thanks to a stunning cross from the right-wing by Ronaldo.
The out-of-form forward was clearly happy with his assist and and was allegedly annoyed that Isco did not immediately run over to thank him for the wonderful pass.
It was probably unintentional, but Ronny was visibly miffed by the snub.
The moment was reiterated by ESPN’s Dermont Corrigan, who also claims Ronaldo has made a ‘substantial’ bet with two Madrid team-mates that he can still beat great rival Lionel Messi’s goal-haul in La Liga this season.
As pointed out, he’s currently 11 goals behind the Barca maestro.
Better get them scoring boots on, Ronny.
