As one of England’s biggest games the East Midlands derby doesn’t need too much extra spice.
But that hasn’t stopped one of England’s best MCs Eyez, who supports Derby County, taking shots at Nottingham Forest.
Eyez has made a diss track ahead of the 100th East Midlands derby between Derby and Forest.
So who got a mention?
‘Man like Rowett’s got tactics’
No need to decode this bit too hard.
Gary Rowett’s first game in charge of Derby came against none other than Forest, with Daniel Pinillos’s 90th minute goal denying the new manager three points.
‘Want to test Derby madness, I swear Craig Bryson got a hat-trick?’
Bryson was the first Derby player to score a hat-trick against Forest in 116 years when he netted a treble in March 2014.
His goals were part of a 5-0 win- the biggest in Derby’s history.
‘Derby County’s on form, you should see Tom Lawrence at training’
The 23-year-old former Man United winger needs to transfer his form in training into games.
He’s yet to score for Derby this season but did get his first goal for Wales during the international break.
‘We’ve got the Brian Clough trophy, we had ten men they still got beat’
Back in September 2011 Derby overcame a second minute sending off of goalkeeper Frank Fielding to win 2-1.
Andy Reid put Forest ahead from the penalty spot only for Jamie Ward and Jeff Hendrick to strike back.
‘DC FC we got Ledley, we’ve got Keogh my man’s deadly’
Derby picked Joe Ledley up on a free signing after the Welshman left Crystal Palace and the midfielder scored on his debut, against Brentford.
Richard Keogh is in his sixth season at Pride Park and will be well and truly fired up for the visit of Forest.
‘Man kiss the Derby badge, do it like Stuart Pearce’
When Pearce scored in Ted McMinn’s benefit game he promptly kissed the Derby badge. Nothing wrong with that, right?
Well, as a player who spent 12 seasons at Forest, it came as a bit of a shock. Cue many conspiracy theories about why he did it.
‘Start swinging my shirt round the top of my head like Robbie Savage’
Savage ended his career with four seasons at Derby, making more than 100 appearances in the Premier League and Championship.
As you can imagine, he took plenty of joy in winding up Forest fans.
