Gareth Bale doesn’t do tap ins.
The Welsh wizard isn’t the most popular name on the teamsheet at Real Madrid anymore after a year of form and fitness problems.
But Bale has silenced the boo-boys with a simply breathtaking strike against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.
In an extremely daunting-looking fixture, Bale was spotted by Dani Carvajal in space behind the Dortmund defence in the first half.
But instead of taking a touch and then composing himself, the former Spurs man LASHED a first-time volley into the far top corner:
The goal is potentially good news for Spurs, who know the German side’s results will have a huge bearing on their chances of qualifying from the group.
