Oxlade-Chamberlain is with England preparing for Friday’s World Cup qualifier in Malta and underwent a medical at St George’s Park on Wednesday evening.
And below is a leaked photo of the 24-year-old seemingly completing the formalities while dressed in Liverpool attire.
Chelsea agreed terms with Arsenal on Monday but the Premier League champions always feared the Three Lions star preferred a switch to Anfield instead.
Klopp told Oxlade-Chamberlain that he wanted to utilise him in central midfield but Antonio Conte was hoping to use the versatile star as a wing-back.
The player also took a massive wage cut after rejecting an £180k-a-week offer at Arsenal to pen an £120k-a-week deal on Merseyside over six years.
The Reds had feared they could miss out on The Ox because of the bad blood between them and Arsenal.
But Colossal Sports management – who represent Ox, Raheem Sterling and Reece Oxford – announced they have agreed a deal with the Reds on Twitter, before deleting the post.
Liverpool are also hoping to complete a late swoop for Virgil van Dijk to finish the transfer window on a high, having reached a deal to sign Naby Keita in 2018.
