Real Madrid are ready to offer new contracts to six players this week as Zinedine Zidane’s side continue their quest for European dominance.
Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal, Isco and Raphael Varane have all earned a salary raise and a longer deal at the Bernabeu.
According to Spanish publication Marca, the Los Blancos boss is consistent on prolonging the contracts of these vital performers.
Isco shot to prominence after cementing his position in Madrid’s starting line-up towards the end of last term, so the club are keen to tie him down until 2022.
In a bid to fend off unwanted interest, the Spanish midfielder will also have a £650m release clause inserted onto his contract.
Benzema, who’s current contract ends in 2019, is expected to be offered a further two years at the Bernabeu.
The 32-year-old forward tallied a total of 19 goals in all competitions last term for Los Blancos.
Asensio, who hit the headlines after scoring twice against rivals Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final, only agreed an extension last year but could be offered a new deal until 2023.
Madrid have attached the youngster with a whopping £461m release clause following interest from Barca boss Ernesto Valverde.
However, it has been reported that the youngster will not sign a new contract if he remains behind Gareth Bale in the pecking order.
Carvajal, Marcelo and Varane are expected to be tied down at the Bernabeu until 2022.
Los Blancos chief Zidane has also confirmed his commitment to the European giants, signing an extension until 2020.
