Has Ousmane Dembele’s best friend and teammate just CONFIRMED his transfer to Barcelona?

Dortmund reserve Moustapha Diatta has posted a devilishly cryptic update on Instagram

With Neymar slipping off to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona have a rather large gap in their attack and a whole lotta money to spend.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho is one of the names touted as a potential Barca target following the Brazilian forward’s exit, while Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele is thought to be top of their ‘Neymar replacements’ shortlist.

And judging by the Instagram account of Demebele’s best friend and former teammate Moustapha Diatta, the France international is seemingly on his way.

NOT PICKED YOUR FANTASY FOOTBALL TEAM YET? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

L’Equipe journalist Bilel Ghazi posted a screen capture of Diatta’s latest story update earlier today via his Twitter account:

Latest post Instragram of Moustapha Diatta, the reserve of Borussia Dortmund player and best friend of… Ousmane Dembélé!

Interesting indeed.

A quick transitional from a reliable source (Google, we used Google) tells us that Se Firma roughly means “is signed”.

Perplexing enough, but add that to the thinking face emoji and we’ve practically lost our tiny minds with anticipation.

He said whaaat?

Speculation in the press throughout Europe has been rife since Neymar’s world record-breaking departure from Barcelona.

Catalan newspaper Sport claimed this week that Barca representatives have met with Dortmund to discuss a deal for the 20-year-old, with the Spanish giants initially offering around €70m (£63m) plus add-ons for the starlet.

Dortmund, however, have made it clear they want some of this silly season cash that’s floating about, and will apparently not accept anything less than €110m – a fee which Barca are reluctant to meet.
