Ricardo Quaresma plays with KNIFE during Turkish Super Cup

The weapon was thrown onto the pitch during Besiktas' game with Konyaspor

The sight of a knife flying from the stands onto the pitch would be enough to intimate most players.

Not Ricardo Quaresma.

The Turkish Super Cup between Besiktas and Konyaspor was momentarily delayed when a butterfly knife was thrown onto the pitch because… well, it’s Turkish football.

As several players protested to the referee and shot concerned looks to the sidelines, Quaresma simply bent down, picked up the blade, and started doing tricks with it…

The tear-drop tattooed winger displayed impressive dexterity when handling the weapon.

Given his somewhat murky past many fans were less than surprised he has such skills in his locker.

The referee’s reaction is priceless as well.

Whether it’s football or knife-wielding, Quaresma can’t resist a few showboating skills.

Turkish Cup champions Konyaspor beat title-holders Besiktas 2-1 thanks to Nejc Skubic’s last-minute penalty.

And who conceded the penalty? That’s right, Pepe.
