BARCELONA have reportedly set their sights on Paulo Dybala as a possible replacement for Neymar.
The deal could involve Andre Gomes and Rafinha in a blockbuster deal for the Juventus star.
However the initial response from Turin is a firm no, according to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juve claim that any offer Barcelona may throw their way for the 23-year-old striker will be rejected.
But the Catalans have been left in shock after Neymar’s record-breaking move to Paris Saint-Germain and they are determined to bring someone in to fill his position in the front line alongside Lionel Messi.
Dybala could be the perfect fit having already been acquainted with Messi as team-mates on the Argentina national team.
A deal involving Gomes move to Turin could work well for Juventus too.
The Portuguese international was a target for Juventus last summer before they lost out to Barcelona.
The Serie A side are on the hunt for someone to strengthen their midfield and have already been linked to Gomes again this summer despite his disappointing debut at Nou Camp.
But it remains to be seen if they will lose their young star to make that move happen.
Dybala has scored 42 goals in 94 appearances for Juventus and has won the league cup and cup double in both of his seasons with the club.
La Gazzetta also report Barcelona have also shown interest in PSG’s Angel Di Maria and Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
