Every Sunday League footballer knows that training before a game consists of banging footballs at a hungover goalkeeper.
Unfortunately Napoli don’t have it so easy. How does playing 11-a-side on half a pitch sound?
Coach Maurizio Sarri’s drill proved a gruelling test for his players and provided a mesmeric video for the rest of us.
Nope, that’s not a video game.
Sarri was named Serie A’s Panchina d’Oro, Italy’s coach of the year, for his efforts last season.
Napoli finished third in Serie A, five points behind winners Juventus, but scored a league high 94 goals thanks to Sarri’s attacking talents.
Napoli have added Nikola Maksimovic, Marko Rog, Mario Rui and Adam Ounas to their squad this season.
By the looks of it Sarri has got them firing.
Watch out Italy.
