Hindsight is a wonderful thing, just ask Jordan Veretout.
When faced with the proposition of joining Aston Villa or Leicester from Nice in 2015 there was only once choice, right?
Go and play with Tactic Tim Sherwood, or struggle with Leicester, who’d only just avoided relegation the previous season and had just announced a crackpot manager.

Veretout went with Villa.
Unfortunately Leicester went on to win the Premier League that season, while Veretout played 25 times as Villa suffered relegation.
The man who won the Under-20 World Cup as part of a French midfield alongside Paul Pogba was now playing in the Championship.
A loan spell to Ligue 1 brought temporary relief, but Veretout will now be able to put his decision behind him and move on permanently.
Veretout is set to join Saint-Etienne on a permanent basis and has agreed a four-year deal, according to the Birmingham Mail.
With his luck Saint-Etienne will probably get relegated next season.
If you ever happen to stumble upon Veretout in a casino, probably best to do the opposite of whatever he does.
