The Spanish winger, Gerard Deulofeu, signed back with the La Liga giants after completing a medical on Friday

GERARD DEULOFEU will apparently head back to Barcelona after four seasons away.

The winger inked a new £10 million deal that will see keep him at Camp Nou until June 2019.

Barcelona cashed in on a buy back clause that initially sent the young Spaniard to Everton in 2015, according to a tweet form the Barca News Forum.

After a stellar second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, Ernesto Valverde wanted Deulofeu back where his career started.

Deulofeu’s return was confirmed with a signature on Friday after he completed a medical.

He started last season at Goodison Park where he appeared in 13 games for Everton without a goal.

The 23-year-old was sent on loan to Milan mid-season where he impressed, scoring four goals in 18 games.

During his time away from Barcelona, Deulofeu also spent time on loan at Sevilla.

Deulofeu moved through the ranks of Barcelona’s academy after joining in 2003.

He made his professional debut in 2011 and had four appearances in the 2012-13 season before being sent on loan to Everton
