JOSE MOURINHO will throw the kids into Manchester United’s final game despite admitting they are not ready.
Mourinho is going to play seven from Nicky Butt’s under-23 team as he saves his best players for next Wednesday’s Europa League Final.
The Special One namechecked TEN players that could feature, with Butt set for a rare appearance in the United dugout.
But, asked if those players are prepared for a Premier League game as they take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, Mourinho said: “No. I think one in the middle of a good structure, a dynamic structure, an experienced structure, I think yes, I think lots of them together, no.
“The only positive is to save my players to give them better conditions for Wednesday, it’s the only positive thing.
“Individually for the kids it will be a great experience; Old Trafford, Premier League, Crystal Palace, last match of the season I think for the kids it will be a big occasion and a good experience for that.

“But I repeat the best level for a young player is in the middle of an experienced structure where he can be surrounded and supported.
“So many kids at the same time I don’t think is good because there is a big difference of quality between them and Crystal Palace.”

Despite that Mourinho has no regrets about throwing the young players in at the deep end as he complained once more about the fixture pile-up they have faced this season.
Mourinho said: “Since Jan we have played 37 matches and the Premier League is 38 matches so we played a complete Premier League minus one match in five months, which is normally what a team does for a year and we had four big injuries with surgeries that reduced the number of players we had.”
Paul Pogba will be one of the experienced members of tomorrow’s team having missed training and the Southampton game after the recent death of his father.
He said: “Paul is fine, strong guy, strong mentality.
“He’s learning how to live after his father passed away but he’s strong and he knows he needs to play on Sunday because he doesn’t play, he doesn’t train for a long time and he needs this minutes on the pitch, so he plays against Palace.”
