Looks like a part of Vincent Kompany’s rehabilitation involved practising smashing the ball into top bins and making it look easy.
The Manchester City captain virtually secured all three points for his side against Crystal Palace by scoring an absolute worldie, firing an unstoppable strike past Wayne Hennessey, who barely saw it zip past him into the top corner.
Having gone 1-0 up through David Silva in the second minute of the match, Kompany scored from 15 yards out after Kevin de Bruyne rolled the ball into his captain’s feet.

That technique though…
De Bruyne got himself on the scoresheet minutes later, but all the talk after the match will be about Kompany’s audition to replace Sergio Aguero as their main striker for next season.
Unsurprisingly, the goal got everyone buzzing on social media.
Lovely, lovely stuff from the City captain.
