Wilfried Zaha gives Spurs a lesson in defending with some tasty footwork

The Spurs defence couldn't cope with the winger at times

Wilfried Zaha really is incredible.

The Crystal Palace winger has been running rings around full-backs all season, despite turning out for a side that have graced the lower reaches of the Premier League.

His technique, skill and dribbling abilities haven’t gone unnoticed, with a host of clubs, including the Eagles’ Wednesday night opponents Tottenham, interested in his services.

And if he does move to Spurs next season, he’s giving his potential future teammates some lesson in marking.

In the first-half, the 24-year-old was undoubtedly the most exciting player on the pitch, as he terrorised the right wing.

We even feel a little sorry for the Spurs defence.
In one particular move in the opening 15 minutes, Zaha managed to reel in Ben Davies AND Dele Alli with his dribbling, before cutting the ball back and firing a cross into the box.

The Spurs duo didn’t know what hit ’em.

Both Alli and Davies were left with egg on their faces.

With Chelsea leading Spurs at the top of the Premier League table by seven points, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are desperate to keep up the pursuit.

Palace, meanwhile, are currently sitting pretty in 12th, having more-or-less avoided this seasons relegation battle.

Sam Allardyce has turned things around at Selhurst Park and has even overseen wins against Chelsea and Liverpool recently.
